“Weatherford College, the city of Weatherford and others welcomed the new roundabout at College Park and Martin drives on Tuesday afternoon. Included in the ribbon cutting ceremony was the unveiling of the bronze coyote statues that are in the center of the roundabout.”

Kelly talks about what went into creating this beautiful replica of cutting's two most iconic figures.”

“Buster Welch Riding Little Peppy, the unveiling of the Western Heritage Bronze Statue, hosted by the NCHA Foundation in collaboration with the NCHA and the National Ranching Heritage Center, was an evening we'll hold in our memories. Cutting horse legend Buster Welch and King Ranch Director, retired, Tio Kleburg, discussed the great cutting horse Peppy San Badger (more fondly known as Little Peppy), and his character and contributions to the cutting horse industry….This beautiful bronze, sculpted by Kelly Graham, will be placed on Trail Drive under a live oak next to Will Rogers Memorial Complex in Ft. Worth TX for everyone attending events to enjoy for many years to come.”

For the past 20 years or so, Kelly Graham has lived with his wife, Donna, on a 100-acre spread north of Weatherford on Scott Road. In an unpretentious metal and slab workshop, he creates his own bronze of magic. He is known locally for the life-size bronze sculpture of horses in town, but his art is quickly becoming well-known all over the United States.
